RN NICU Level III
Level III NICU nurse is equipped with the knowledge and skills to provide continuous life support and comprehensive care for extremely high-risk newborn infants and those with complex and critical illness. These skills include comprehensive care for extremely low birth weight infants (1000 g birth weight or less and 28 or less weeks gestation); advanced respiratory care such as high-frequency ventilation and inhaled nitric oxide.
Essential Job Duties:
Graduate of an accredited or NLN-approved RN program.
Prefer one year full time or three years part time experience in acute care setting. Preferably a NICU
BLS (current upon hire)
NRP (current upon hire)
STABLE certification (within 6 months of hire)
Current Florida nursing license.
Must successfully pass any pre-employment assessment(s) required by the facility.
Willingness to be cross-trained to other areas of perinatal care.
