Fluke is seeking a Program Manager to drive business growth within the Industrial Products Group (IG) brands: Amprobe, Beha-Amprobe and PLS, by executing new product development and sustaining efforts on time and on budget. Fluke is the industry leader in handheld test and measurement tools. The Program Manager will own process discipline, leading a cross-functional geographically dispersed team, documentation and tracking of all programs including tollgate process compliance, regular cadence of meetings and reviews, reporting, program metrics, counter measures and overall performance. The role requires a person who is comfortable communicating at all levels of the organization, in managing conflict and tradeoffs and is an enabler for cross-functional clarity, communication and execution through followership and driving accountability.
* Accountable to program sponsors for schedule, budget, and quality of all program elements; escalates decisions to program sponsors as necessary. * Leads the program planning process, tools and schedule development. * Reviews/approves program plans for conformance to program strategy and schedule. * Acts as the communications conduit to sponsors and program steering committee and conducts periodic briefings/status updates. Prepares program status, program risk analyses, and customer VOC collection with a goal to drive issues to closure and assure achievement of program goals and KPIs. * Directs and coordinates resources throughout respective company functions and conducts regular program reviews to make sure that program development and key performance indicators stay on track. * Assures that the program achieves the cost, quality, performance, production rate, and yield metrics defined during the proposal stages. * Leads program through all stages from idea to commercial execution. * Proactively manage changes in project scope, identify potential crises, and devise contingency plans * Collaborates cross-functionally to establish performance, schedule, cost and quality objectives for internal teams and external partners * A minimum of 5 years of experience managing NPI projects for test and measurement products, which include hardware, firmware and software in a fully integrated systems * PMI/PMP courses or certification, knowledge of FBS, Amprobe NPI process and structure of internal Fluke departments preferred * Knowledge of Oracle R12 * Demonstrated experience managing ISO-9000 compliant projects (or equivalent) * Demonstrated ability to work in a team-oriented, collaborative environment including leadership of geographically dispersed, cross-functional development teams * Basic understanding of hardware and software development processes, electronics manufacturing, and materials procurement * Ability to effectively prioritize and execute tasks in a high-pressure environment * Proven experience in risk management and change management
